PORT Shepstone Primary has adopted ‘Bread of Heaven’ as one of the charities that the school supports and recently held two civvies days to collect money. The school is extremely grateful to Bread of Heaven for its consistent support in providing sandwiches for about twenty PSP pupils throughout the year and is extremely proud of pupils and parents for generously supporting this campaign. A total of R4 000 was collected.
At the recent winter sports tournament held at Port Shepstone Senior Primary, PSP’s netball and soccer teams performed outstandingly well. U10 pupils took part in the recent Southern KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union mini-cricket festival held at the borough grounds, the U11 netball team won all games in its age division, while the U13 team won three and drew one. The U11 and U13 soccer teams played eight matches, winning six and drawing one. PSP is extremely proud of all pupils who took part and were awarded medals at last week’s assembly.
