AN Albersville family was attacked and robbed at their Flamingo Avenue home on Tuesday night this week.
“The husband was awakened by his wife who screamed when she saw two men in the bedroom. The men were carrying firearms,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid
The husband, wife and three of their children were then tied up. The men demanded cash and fled with a dvd player, cash, a watch and a tv set.
The thieves gained entry through an open window and they are thought to have made their escape in a vehicle. No arrests have been made.
