A WOMAN was robbed of her cellphone at the Margate taxi rank last Saturday.
Three men armed with knives approached the 29-year-old woman and threatened her, demanding she hand over her phone.
Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said, “The woman was at the taxi rank at around 7pm when the men approached her. She handed over the phone and the men fled.”
Police searched the area without success. Margate police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
