Hibberdene Academy warms up with drama

There is so much musical talent amongst pupils and staff.

LAST Friday evening was one of the coldest nights of the year, but Hibberdene Academy parents and friends were treated to a wonderful production entitled ‘Saving Mother Earth’. Pupils from grades RR and R to gr 12 presented songs and dance routines with emphasis on the theme ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’.

With no essentials or special effects such as a closed stage and hall, lighting, or musical instruments apart from a guitar, the audience was treated to many relevant and beautiful songs surrounding the theme. The large numbers of parents and friends who attended and supported are thanked, as well as teachers and pupils for this fabulous evening.

Thursday will be a day of outings for pupils to relax and have fun whilst learning from our beautiful natural environment.
