TWO men, employed at two separate security companies on the South Coast, were arrested in Trafalgar last Saturday. Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said police received a complaint after a gardener at a house in Howard Avenue reported a case of housebreaking.
“When the gardener reported to work he saw that the sliding door was open. He went inside and noticed that a TV and other household items were missing from the house. He reported the incident to Margate police,” said Captain Mfeka.
He added that later that same day police arrested two men, Bongani Alex Mbhele (28) and Mzokhona Ncane (33). It is believed that the men are employed at two separate security companies. They appeared in Ramsgate Court on Monday this week and the case was postponed to June 30.
They were denied bail and remain in custody. All the property that was stolen has been recovered.
