TWO men were stabbed during a house robbery in Southbroom on Wednesday night.
It is believed that two intruders entered through a door which was not locked.
When one of the men in the house woke up, he alerted his friend. They confronted the intruders and a fight broke out.
“One of occupants was badly stabbed, and was rushed to a hospital in Durban, while the other was slightly injured,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
The two intruders exited through a glass window from the balcony and fled with two TVs and a handbag.
“A house robbery case is being investigated by Margate police,” she concluded.
