Video: The one that (almost) got away

The driver will be charged with operating a vehicle with an unsecured load.

THE driver of a flatbed truck transporting two accident-damaged taxis and a car from East London to Durban got a nasty surprise  when a motorist  indicated to him that one of the taxis was slipping off the truck.

The truck driver executed a U-turn in Hibberdene, intending to drive to the Marburg Truck Inn to resecure the load. However, Protection Services pulled the truck over near the Port Shepstone Country Club.

The truck will be taken to the RTI where the load will be properly secured. The driver will be charged with operating a vehicle with an unsecured load.
