Mystery deepens as four children remain missing

More than 18 months after four young siblings disappeared from their Ntabankulu home without a trace, the Hawks are renewing their appeal for information that could help bring them home.

The Hawks have renewed their appeal to the public for information on the whereabouts of four children who disappeared from their home in Ntabankulu (in the Wild Coast Region of the Eastern Cape) more than 18 months ago.

Siblings Sive Siganga (7), Oyintando Siganga (4), Thabsile Siganga (4) and Thabile Siganga (4) were last seen playing in the yard of their family home at Mjila Administrative Area on November 10, 2024.

Their disappearance led to the opening of a kidnapping case and the involvement of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI). Despite extensive investigations, including intelligence-driven enquiries, inter-provincial follow-ups and community engagements, the children have not been found.

The Hawks have called on traditional leaders, community organisations, schools, faith-based groups and members of the public to assist by sharing information that could help investigators.

Hawks spokesperson Warrant Officer Ndiphiwe Mhlakuvana said investigators remain committed to finding the children and urged anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward.

Anyone with information can contact Colonel Raymond Buys on 082 301 1113 or Warrant Officer Norton Ndabambi on 082 559 4613. Information can also be reported anonymously through the MySAPS App or at any police station.
