PORT Shepstone Primary’s gr 7 pupils recently werlcomedPrakash Raju, an expatriate teacher and motivational speaker from Canada. Mr Raju addressed pupils on decision-making skills, impressing on them that sometimes when forced to make difficult decisions, they might not necessarily be the most popular ones.
The presentation was especially interesting because song, dance and amusing sketches were incorporated to convey the message. Pupils were also interested in learning about life in Canada, and the school thanks Mr Raju and his family for taking some time during their holiday to address pupils.
PSP’s academic programme for the third term has commenced with much excitement and enthusiasm and after the lengthy July vacation, pupils settled down quickly to academic work.
