Izotsha Primary is placed fourth

All pupils are reminded that athletics and cross-country commence this week.

IZOTSHA Primary’s equestrian team has achieved consistently good results this year in the SANESA school league shows, placing the school fourth out of 14 in the ‘Primary School division of five riders or less’. The team also took part in the Shongweni Pony Club interbranch with outstanding results.

Rebekah Shipley was placed first overall in the children’s prelim dressage. Rachel Upfold placed second in the pool and third overall to achieve her ‘Novice Children’s Equitation class’ which qualifies her for the inter-regional competition. Caitlin Upfold placed third in the children’s intermediate.

Gr 1 pupils celebrated their first 100 days at school with a ‘100 day party’ with some truly creative ideas for dressing up using the theme ‘100’.

The school grounds are looking beautiful despite the dry weather, thanks to Heather Bense’s hard work. All pupils are reminded that athletics and cross-country commence this week.
