PUPILS and staff are warmly welcomed back to Port Shepstone Senior Primary after the midyear break. Pupils have settled down well and it’s business as usual with the extramural programme also in full swing ahead of the very busy athletics season.
Thirteen teachers attended an athletics coaching clinic held at Port Natal School last Saturday and enjoyed the extremely informative sessions and took part in various practical activities.
There was a good turnout of parents last Thursday afternoon who took advantage of the opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss pupils’ academic performances. Parents are thanked for ongoing support and interest shown and are referred to the ANA newsletter and timetable sent home recently. Cooperation and parent support during the revision programme will be appreciated.
The selection of monitors for the second semester is in the final stages and parents and pupils will be informed of the induction once the process is complete. Important dates to remember, interhouse cross-country on August 7 and interhouse athletics on August 21.
