Thieves target Woodgrange Primary

Acting principal Dr Maliga Chetty appeals to business owners to sponsor new netball posts.

UNFORTUNATELY Woodgrange-on-Sea Primary has once again been targeted by criminals who stole two solid steel netball poles last week. The theft was reported to the SAPS and acting principal, Dr Maliga Chetty appeals to Stickfarm Community members to watch over the school and report any suspicious activity to her. If there is a kind Samaritan or a business owner willing to sponsor two netball poles, it would be sincerely appreciated.

Recently, teacher Khululiwe Khumalo accompanied gr 6 pupils and shared an amazing holiday with pupils from two other schools at The Mercury Children’s Holiday Home in Hibberdene.

Pupils enthusiastically took part in a variety of games and activities and were on ‘top form’ during the talent contest and quiz competition. Congratulations to Bongeka Ntusi, who bagged 10 prizes, as well as Taneth Joese and Sbongakonke Ngcece, who were chosen as best girl and boy of the camp. Woodgrange pupils did the school proud by being complimented on being the best behaved at the camp.
