Jai Hind comes to family’s aid

All parents are urged to attend the governing body by-election on August 13.

A TOTAL of R2 373.01 was collected towards a relief fund to assist the Albersville Fruin family who lost everything in a fire recently. Four of the family’s children attend Jai Hind and the school is sincerely grateful to everyone who rallied around to contribute so generously after learning about the family’s plight.

Jai Hind welcomes three new staff members this term. Jacqueline van der Merwe (formerly Ventersdorp Combined School) joined the foundation phase department, and Nikita Praimlal (Umkomaas Primary) and Thiru Arumogam joined the intermediate department. The school bids farewell to Sibhale Ndlovu and Neeshika Seepershad.

Registration for gr 1 and gr R for 2015 opens on August 25. All parents are urged to attend the rescheduled governing body by-election on August 13 at 6pm.

Gr 6 pupils Aaliyah Khan and Ethan Hammond took part in the Ugu District science expo held at Harding Secondary last Wednesday, which was an enriching experience.
