Izotsha Primary gets crafty with waste

The school would like to encourage more pupils to take part in cross-country.

IZOTSHA Primary’s gr 7 pupils created wonderful articles with recyclable waste material for natural science, working to set criteria and marked accordingly.

The senior A boys’ and girls’ hockey teams played against Glenashley Primary at Creston College last weekend. Glenashley provided good competition and Izotsha teams both lost 2-0.

Cross-country began last week with a good turnout and the school would like to encourage even more pupils to take part in this fun-filled extracurricular activity, which will enhance each pupil’s fitness performance for athletics season which commences this term.

Pupils are further reminded that athletic trials will be held during physical education (PE) lessons and during after-school sports practice sessions.
