Merlewood Primary supports anti-bullying campaign

Woolworths visited the school last week to promote healthy eating habits.

MERLEWOOD Primary pupils showed support for the anti-bullying campaign by wearing purple ribbons throughout last week. This was concluded with a march around the school grounds, displaying anti-bullying posters.

Representatives from Woolworths addressed gr 5 pupils at the school last week to promote and encourage healthy living and eating habits. The school is grateful to Woolworths for including Merlewood Primary on its agenda.

Snegugu Msomi, Innocent Nyawo, Angelique Mthuli and Zizile Shezi represented the school at the recent science expo in Harding and made the school proud. Although no medals were won, these pupils gained valuable experience to assist, guide and prepare them for the next science expo.
