
PORT Shepstone Islamic School will be hosting the Travelling Bookshop at the school hall on August 18. Pupils are eagerly awaiting this day to scoop some new reads and the public and other schools are urged to take advantage of this service.
The school will further be hosting a programme in conjunction with Madrasah Tarteelul Quraan from Pietermaritzburg on August 15.
As well as the variety of animals gr 4 pupils saw at a recent visit to Fiddlewood Farm, the highlight was when they were allowed to cuddle an adorable two-week-old baby goat.
Gr 6s had a motivational team building boot camp. Pupils were put through a series of endurance courses addressing fears and testing competence. As a surprise, pupils were given a surprise ‘water-down’.
