GRADE 7 pupils from Port Shepstone Primary recently went on an adrenalin-filled excursion to Sweetdale Camp. Pupils were treated to three days of leadership, team building and self-confidence exercises.
The campers had never experienced abseiling, zip-lining through the trees, as well as other exciting, yet nerve-wracking activities before and the school would like to thank Sweetdale Camp’s management and staff for the excellent hospitality and making the excursion a memorable one.
As a precursor to the annual sports day on August 13, field events were held last week and athletes displayed great skill in the long jump and high jump events. One of the highlights was the tug of war, the final of which will be held on sports day and is sure to receive tremendous support from both pupils and parents.
The school governing body elections will be held in the school hall on August 21 at 5.30pm and parents are urged to attend.
