PORT Shepstone Secondary recently held its annual English speech contest and boasted many accomplished speakers. The school is extremely proud of the dedicated pupils who received many trophies and certificates and were given due recognition.
The Eskom Science Expo for Young Scientists was held at Harding Secondary School in July and four eager PSSec pupils, Tharish Ravin Ranjit, Mishen Govender, Lalita Mpofana and Sachin Sookoo, worked feverishly to have their projects prepared and ready for the big day.
Pupils from secondary and primary schools from various districts put up some stiff competition, showcasing their talent and research skills. Judges had a tough job judging more than 200 projects.
Congratulations to all pupils for their hard work and effort, particularly Sachin Sookoo and Tharish Ravin Ranjit, who obtained silver medals for outstanding projects and are on their way to the International Science Fair to be held in Gauteng later this year.
