PORT Shepstone Junior Primary’s gr 3 pupils enjoyed a ‘pirate’ themed week at school last week, integrating all learning areas, especially with regards to transport in the past.
Last Thursday, Captain Buckle Boots came to visit pupils to great squeals of terror and delight. The pupils wanted to know where Captain Buckle Boots came from and were eager to hear about some of his greatest adventures. Last Friday, after doing map work, pupils dug enthusiastically for buried treasure and found a chest of ‘gold’ coins.
Congratulations to gr 3 pupils Amahle Mdibi, S’busiso Ngadlela, Amanda Qumbisa, Cade Woodenberg, Sfisosethu Dlamini, Thando Ndamase, Sethu Linda, Asiphe Mkhize, Zinzi Hlangu, Philasande Radebe, Oyena Nkonzo and Simphiwe Kwela who have proved to be responsible and sensible enough to be selected as school monitors.
