LAST week, Port Shepstone Primary hosted its annual sports gala which is one of the highlights on the school calendar and this year was no exception. All athletes who took part put on their best efforts and were highly competitive, but as usual, displayed excellent sportsmanship.
Pupils were overwhelmed by the large number of parents who took time off from work to spend the day at the school. A highlight of the day’s proceedings were the relay events, which were loudly supported by pupils, teachers and parents. Hawk house was the eventual victor.
Simphiwe Mavundla was chosen as victor ludorum and Nelisa Mkhize awarded victrix ludorum, both representatives of Hawk house.
