MONITORS for the remainder of the year were inducted at a special assembly held last Friday at Sheppie Senior Primary. There was a good turnout of parents to witness the special ceremony, and they were thanked for the important role played in bringing up such fine leaders.
Field event finals were held last week with Garrick house taking the lead and 1200m events were held last Friday, ahead of the
much anticipated interhouse athletics scheduled for today.
PSSP’s U14 boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams took part in a volleyball tournament held in Marburg last Saturday and out of the four matches, one was won by each. Both teams performed well, in spite of tough competition.
The Strini Moodley soccer tournament takes place at PSSP on August 23. Grade sevens are hard at work preparing for a ‘Market Day’ scheduled for August 26 and are looking forward to their outing to Sweetdale Camp in the first week of September.
