WEEKS of intensive skills training has certainly paid off at Port Shepstone Secondary, which made a clean scoop of the schools’ final volleyball knockout tournament held last Saturday at the Marburg Sports Complex.
Both the boys’ and girls’ U16 A teams were top achievers and exploited loopholes to thunder their way to victory in the final matches. There was a massive improvement in defensive play with solid blocks and better covering by sweepers, who had the fans screaming in delight. Congratulations to all volleyball players and coaches for bringing the trophy ‘home’.
