PSSP wins soccer tournament

The Moodley family are sincerely thanked for the opportunity to show off talent.

PORT Shepstone Senior Primary’s interhouse athletics was held last Thursday and Garrick house won with 289 points, followed by Marlin house in second place with 207 points and Barracuda house with 161 points.

Amahle Mchunu is the 2014 junior victrix ludorum and Sanele Shoba is junior victor ludorum. The senior victrix ludorum is Amina Mngadi and senior victor ludorum is Mlungisi Mabaso. Pupils who excelled look forward to taking part at the interschool athletics, which will be hosted by PSSP on September 6.

The annual Strini Moodley junior soccer tournament hosted by the family of the late soccer legend, Strini Moodley, was held at PSSP last Saturday. A total of ten schools took part and PSSP’s tight defence and excellent goalkeeping saw the team progress to the finals without conceding a single goal.

PSSP beat Port Shepstone Primary in the finals by 3 goals to 0. Man of the match was awarded to Mlungisi Mabaso from PSSP.
