DURING the course of last week, Creston College hosted the senior school triangular at the college between Creston, Kingsway High and Port Shepstone High. It has been a long time since there was any interschool athletics at senior level on the South Coast and there were some encouraging performances.
As an opportunity for pupils to show love and concern for all ‘furry friends’, the school collects food as an annual exercise. Last Friday, Creston College proudly handed over a huge amount of pet food to the Lower South Coast SPCA.
During the course of last week, grade 8 pupils spent the day at Lake Eland where they rode the zip lines. This was a wonderful bonding experience for them and pupils learned about team work, as well as consideration for those who were a little afraid of heights.
Accompanied by teachers Ashleigh Pepworth and Karen Marx, grade 6 pupils spent a few days on an annual excursion last week where they were given the opportunity to grow leadership skills together.
