Izotsha Primary takes second place

The school is now second out of 14 schools.

IZOTSHA Primary’s equestrian team consisting of Rebekah Shipley and Caitlin and Rachel Upfold had some superb results in bitterly cold and difficult conditions. The SANESA event was the last core league qualifier and was held at Dolcoed Riding Centre in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands this past weekend.

Rebekah won her equitation class and was placed second and fourth in two dressage classes. Caitlin Upfold won her dressage test, came fourth in the second test and won her working and riding class. Rachel Upfold won her jumping class as well as her working and riding class and was placed third in equitation and fourth in dressage. Izotsha is now in second place out of 14 schools in the Primary Schools H Division. The school thanks Claudette Upfold for her hard work and dedication in preparing the pupils.

Izotsha Primary is once again working hard at community projects and is currently collecting goods for the ‘Santa Shoe Box’ project’. The interhouse and interschool athletics take place this week.
