THE Southcity Christian College rugby boys took part in the Weston Agricultural College Centenary Sevens Tournament, along with 16 other schools.
On the Friday, Southcity drew 11-11 with Alex and beat James Khumalo Agricultural College 28-8.
The next day Southcity lost 7-17 to Weston and beat James Khumalo Agricultural College 69-0, but lost 14-17 to Treverton College in the semi-finals.
The prep school has had a busy week, with a fund-raiser to support a past pupil seriously injured in an accident. As green was her favourite colour, pupils were asked to wear something green. The fund-raiser was the initiative of a few grade 7 pupils who also handed out green ribbons on the day.

The grade 4s celebrated ‘French Day’ with croissants, ‘frog legs’ and many other French culinary delights. Tables were fully laden for the wonderful ‘feast’ and they dressed up for the occasion too!
The annual Southcity Pre-primary Spring Walk was held last Sunday.

There was a variety of different stalls, plus face painting and horse rides.
The interschool athletics was held last Saturday, with Southcity managing fourth place overall.
