Hlanganani goes to market

Pupils sold products and rendered services.

HLANGANANI Preparatory grade 7 pupils held a market day as part of their economics and management sciences project.

The pupils started the week by doing the budget and a marketing survey. After they obtained their data they held the market day last Friday.

Pupils sold products and rendered services. Products were sweets, hot dogs, cakes and soft drinks etc. Services offered were video games, a car wash, soccer and modelling competitions just to mention a few.

At the end of the day, pupils drew income and expenditure statements. All groups reported a more than 50 percent profit. The cash was submitted and Helen Wiggett did the counting for the pupils’ financial reports.
