Margate Primary explores weighty subject

Gr R pupils have been having a weekly cooking lesson and have made some really scrumptious treats.

WITH the third term drawing to a close, pupils are preparing for term-end tests and exams, however, there has also been a lighter side to studying. Some of the gr 5 pupils had fun investigating the masses or weight of numerous objects, using a variety of weighing devices.

Gr R pupils have been having a weekly cooking lesson and some of the scrumptious things made include ‘Nutella’ sandwiches, crunchies and ‘Rice Krispie’ treats. On September 25, they will be having a braai to celebrate ‘National Braai Day’.

The school choir was invited to sing at the Anglican Church to celebrate National Students’ Day and was such a great success, it has been invited back for another performance.
