SOUTH Coast Academy gr R pupils had a lot of fun last Friday putting the theme ‘Jobs people do’ into practice. There were aspiring doctors in the house, handsome firefighters, pretty bakers and smart men of the law to keep law and order.
It was with a heavy heart that South Coast Academy principal Eton Hess announced at last Thursday’s special assembly that gr 10 pupil, Lihle Nkone, sadly died on September 10 after a brief illness.
Lihle joined the school in January this year as a resident at the school’s hostel and was best known for her charming smile and delightful personality. She was well liked by staff and pupils alike and will be sorely missed by all, especially by the ‘hostel family’.
The principal, directors, hostel and teaching staff, as well as all the pupils of South Coast Academy offer their condolences to the Nkone family.
Lihle’s funeral will be held in Lusikisiki, Mtobothini Location, on Saturday, September 20.
