LAST Thursday, Southcity junior primary put on a Bible story production of Noah and the great flood, that was given a fresh twist with comical animal characters and beautiful costumes. All pupils from gr R to 3 took part in the performance depicting Noah and his family, the Ark, the rain and of course the all-important rainbow.
The college water polo girls played at Sheppie High, but lost the game. The girls’ first soccer team lost 0-3 against Toti High last Wednesday, the U16 girls lost 1-2 and the U14 girls drew 2-2. The college boys’ water polo team played Sheppie High last Wednesday, losing narrowly with a final score of 6-7.
The preparatory phase U13 soccer match against Creston last Tuesday resulted in a win for both the U13A and U13B boys. The U13A girls drew and the U13B girls won.
In the college boys’ soccer against Toti High last Thursday, the first team won 3 -1, the seconds lost 0-5, the U16s lost 1-2 and the U14s lost their game.
At the cross-country event, Levi won by 12 points. Age-group winners were Megan Jamieson and Qhama Nkume (U10), Anelisa Dlongolo and Damien le Roux (U11), Tayla van Rooyen and Thomas Constable (U12), and Tamara Venter and Cameron Krishna (U13).
