TO observe the onset of spring and to extend life orientation beyond the boundaries of the classroom, Port Shepstone Islamic School’s gr 8 pupils took on the challenge of transforming a blank wall into an ‘artist’s masterpiece’.
The task was so interesting and enjoyable that pupils continued painting after school until late evening. Splashes of paint stains on pupils’ uniforms added to the colour and excitement and pupils were afforded the opportunity to exploit hidden artistic prowess.
The theme of ‘environment awareness’ was vividly captured in two contrasting panels, namely the polluted environment and the much-needed pure and beautiful one.
Islamic School wishes teachers and pupils a joyous Eid next Sunday, as well as a much-awaited end of third term break.
