Lotteries board grant applications to close soon
Non-fee schools and sports clubs from previously disadvantaged communities will be prioritised.
THE closing date for submission of applications to the National Lotteries Board for qualifying sports organisations is October 21.
Charlotte Mampane, chief executive officer of the National Lotteries Board advises that due to the ongoing strike at the post office, alternative plans have been made to ensure that the application process is not affected. The board will accept applications at its head office in Pretoria as well as at all regional offices around the country to accommodate as many applicants as possible.
Non – fee schools and sports clubs from previously disadvantaged communities will be prioritised, says Mampane.
There are ongoing workshops still running in areas that require further assistance to beneficiaries with limited resources. To download application forms and for additional information visit www.nlb.org.za.
