NOEL Baker has been appointed deputy principal at Port Shepstone Senior Primary as from October 1. Mr Baker officially took over the office of the late Sikhumbuso Mbatha who died in April this year. The school congratulates Mr Baker on his appointment.
With only a few cricket fixtures scheduled for the term, the first U11 match was unfortunately cancelled last week because of rain. Popular sports superstar Mlungisi Mabaso has yet again made PSSP very proud by being selected to represent the KZN U13B cricket team. He was also selected for the Southern KZN U13 cricket squad in 2013 and achieved KZN colours for athletics in 2012 and 2013.
With only two weeks before the commencement of the final exams, teachers and pupils are hard at work completing the curriculum and assessments. Exams commence on November 7 and the annual awards are scheduled for November 25. PSSP has been appointed as a ‘Matric Marking Centre for 2014’ and will officially close for pupils on November 27 at 2pm.
