WORK on the new facility for Wonderland special needs started in earnest this week. Contractors moved 25 cubic metres of soil to make way for the retaining wall and foundations of the facility housed at Creston College.
The ‘Eco maniac’ fund-raiser, aimed at raising public awareness about water security (especially on the Creston campus), is forging ahead and prizes are being awarded every week.
Creston College pupil Jordan Nell was selected to take part in an international sevens competition in Mauritius at the beginning of term four. Jordan acquitted himself well and scored seven tries during the tournament.
