Two vehicles killed woman in hit-and-run
Both vehicles hit the woman and drove on without stopping.
WITNESSES who saw a woman (40) being hit by a vehicle on the R61 near Masinenge, Margate last Friday have told police she was also hit by a second vehicle.
“Both vehicles hit the woman and drove on without stopping,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid,
She said that investigations are continuing, and that a culpable homicide docket has been opened.
Lt-Col Wiid said that when police arrived at the scene at 6.45pm, they found the body of the woman lying on her back. She had sustained multiple injuries.
