Hibberdene Academy’s Jeane achieves five distinctions

All 12 matriculants passed and between them achieved a total of ten distinctions.

HIBBERDENE Academy has done it again! All 12 matriculants passed and achieved a total of ten distinctions amongst them. Ten candidates achieved university passes while two achieved diploma passes to tertiary study.

Congratulations go to Jeane Mbambo with five distinctions (English, Afrikaans, geography, life orientation, life sciences), Siobhan Callow with three distinctions (Afrikaans, life orientation and life sciences), and Juanita Marcus and Bryan Willard who received one each for life orientation.

Jeane Mbambo did exceptionally well in her exams. She received distinctions in Afrikaans, English, geography, life sciences, life orientation and Bs in maths core and physical science. Jeane plans to study medicine at the University of Cape Town.

Hard work and an excellent work ethic helped these pupils attain their goals. Principal Thalia Simpson says that she is extremely proud of what the 2014 matriculants achieved.
