Samantha and Bermatt break records at Creston

Falcon House did particularly well and walked away with three awards.

THE highlight at Creston College last week was the senior primary and college phase gala on Friday. What was particularly noteworthy was that two swimmers, namely Samantha Labuschagne and Bermatt Viljoen broke five records each in their respective age groups, an extraordinary achievement.

Results were: winning house overall – Falcon; spirit cup – Falcon; winning college phase house – Eagle; winning senior primary house – Falcon; senior victor ludorum – Bermatt Viljoen; senior victrix ludorum – Samantha Labuschagne; junior victor ludorum – Andrew King; junior victrix ludorum – Lily van der Merwe.

Cricket also took place last week and the first XI game against Suid-Natal Primary ended in a draw because of rain. The game against King Edward from Matatiele was won by Creston.
