Zahra does Islamic School proud

ISLAMIC school continues to celebrate success with past pupil Zahra Rangila, who matriculated in 2014, recently receiving an Ugu Municipality bursary of R20 000.
Ugu mayor Ntombifikile Gumede presented the award at a ceremony held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre. Zahra achieved outstanding matric results with a distinction aggregate of 82 percent. PSIS congratulates Zahra and wishes her every success in her studies towards a degree in BCom Accounting.
Last week, grades 2 and 3 pupils enjoyed a visit to Riverbend Crocodile Farm where they were fascinated by both large and baby crocodiles and were kept entertained with an educational movie on crocodiles and other reptiles.
Gr 8 pupils are enthusiastically steering a collect-a-can food campaign at school as part of their life orientation social responsibilities task. There is stiff competition amongst classes to bring the most and all collections will be donated to institutions in need of support.
