SOUTHCITY Christian College hosted a very successful open day last Saturday. Visiting parents and prospective pupils alike enjoyed guided tours led by the teachers.
Everyone was brought up to date on the wide range of facilities offered by the school.
Some of Southcity’s activities include an annual school play, debating, Rotary speech competition, drama, choir, house plays, art club, Olympiads, and eisteddfods.
Parents gathered in the school hall where they were able to obtain vital information about choosing the correct school for their children. In his address, Grahame Cilliers (CEO) touched on Southcity’s excellence in education.
“We aim to produce young adults who are well equipped to proceed to wherever they wish to go in life,” he said. After the briefing, parents were taken on a guided tour of the school.
