Hlanganani gets into the swim of things

Last Friday, a short fun–filled St Valentine’s Day show was held at the school.

SWIMMING is progressing well at Hlanganani Preparatory. Intermediate and senior classes have had three swimming sessions thus far and foundation phases have had two.

At the interdistrict athletics held at the Marburg Sports Complex last Thursday, Hlanganani pupils performed exceedingly well, with Mfundo Blose and Lerato Ndovela being selected for the ward team.

Last Friday, a short fun–filled St Valentine’s Day show was held and featured songs, dancing, modelling and raffles. Gr 1A pupil Buhlebemvelo Njeya was chosen as the foundation phase ‘Mr Valentine’ and ‘Miss Valentine’ was gr 2A pupil Siphumelele Cele. Mnqobi Ngwane and Nomonde Nzimande were winners of the intermediate and senior phases. Two raffle draw gift hampers went to Nomfundo Mzizi of gr 5A and gr 7A pupil Yoliswa Gigaba.
