PSSP entered 16 pupils in the Ogwini Ward athletics trials held at the Marburg Sports Complex last Thursday. Congratulations to Samkelo Ntusi, Chantel Majola, Lemard Pillay, Sanele Shoba, Amahle Mchunu and Cade Woodenberg, who all qualified to attend the circuit athletics trials.
The U13B cricket team played its first match of the season against Port Edward’s A-team last week. Port Edward elected to field first after it won the toss. PSSP struggled to read the bounce of the ball and only made 55 runs for 7 wickets.
Port Edward surpassed this score in the 14th over, to win the match by five wickets. The best bowler was Siphesihle Khuboni, who took two wickets. The U11B team also faced Port Edward and narrowly lost its match. Both teams are still confident as they prepare for their next fixtures against Creston College and Suid-Natal.
Pupils can look forward to a stage production entitled ‘Who’s the Boss?’at the school at a cost of R13 per pupil.
