AT a recent visit to Suid-Natal Primary, police dogs Heeva and Corrie showed locals and visitors how they assist their handlers in dealing with crime in the Port Shepstone cluster.
Sergeant Rommel da Rosa from the K9 unit in Port Shepstone and search and rescue dog Heeva demonstrated how missing persons can be located, while Sgt Stanley Holloway and narcotics dog Corrie searched for and recovered hidden drugs on the rugby field.
After the show, pupils received colouring books and rulers from the SAPS Corporate Communication department.
