PUPILS at Woodgrange Primary enjoyed a fabulous two-day sports programme recently. The weather was perfect, pupils were animated and drummies and mascots paraded around in colourful outfits. Big booming drums added rhythm and beat to the otherwise quiet environment.
The march was a spectacular event with red, blue and white being the colours of the day and parents stood in awe admiring pupils proudly carrying house banners and singing war cries. The Olympians made 115 points and scored a hat-trick this year, beating the Spartans by a mere 15 points.
Principal Dr Maliga Chetty would like to convey sincere gratitude to SGB members Edwina Norris, Matho Shozi and Bukani Dladla, who served as line judges, as well as to loyal supporter Sweady Chetty (former principal of Woodgrange Primary), for serving as line judge on both days.
