FIVE Sheppie High netball players have been selected for the KZN cchools’ netball team. The ‘All Ages Tournament’ will take place from June 29 to July 3 in Gauteng and players are wished all the best.
The first netball team played in a tournament at Kingsway and beat Gelofte and DGHS, but narrowly lost to Voortrekker by one goal. Jané Hills was named ‘Player of the team’, and Oneza Potelwa and Sibahle Thabede were chosen as ‘All Stars’.
PSHS first team hockey boys beat New Forest 2-0 and the first rugby team beat Thomas More 34-3. The junior girls’ athletic team was placed first in the U15 age group and Caitlyn Schlehmeyer was placed second overall at the cross-country league.
