MERLEWOOD Primary’s junior choir, comprising gr 1 and 2 pupils, excelled at its first eisteddfod held in Gamalakhe recently. It was placed second at cluster level and will now compete at district level.
The school is extremely proud of this feat and wishes all choir members success at the next level.
Despite many challenges at the school, teaching and learning continues as normal. Parents are urged to consult the assessment programme for respective grades.
The new SGB is scheduled to have its inauguration meeting this week and the school wishes it well, certain in the knowledge that it will accomplish success for the school in its term of office.
