Uneasy calm in Harding
There are apparently plans to block off the whole town.
RUMOURS of a massive protest are brewing in Harding this morning.
Last week the town was trashed during a service delivery protest.
There are now apparently plans to block off the whole town as people are becoming increasingly fed-up about the lack of service delivery and the apparent non-transparent” municipality.
At the moment there is not much activity in town and the mood is said to be sombre.
There are no vendors trading, some of the shops are closed, and letters have been issued to school children telling them not to attend school.
Lending credence to claims of a chronic lack of service delivery, there is no water in Harding this morning.
