SOUTH Coast Academy had a ‘clown of a day’ recently when the Brian Boswell Circus came to visit. Pupils were kept enthralled with trapeze artists, jugglers, dogs, and best of all, the clowns, who put on quite a show. There were smiles all round and lots of screams from pupils when they were sprayed with water guns. Clowns ‘Sparky’ and ‘Benji’ put on such a brilliant show that some pupils decided to change their minds about what they would like to be when they grow up!

Pupils were mesmerised by acrobats John Julius, Antony Joseph and Abdalla Ally, who juggled hats, climbed over and under each other and even jumped extremely high into the air, but everyone loved the part where a ‘scary ghost’ haunted ‘Sparky’ and ‘Benji’. The school thanks Boswell Circus for brightening up an ordinary school day.
