The netball girls have been on a winning streak and both the U11 and U13 teams won their matches convincingly (9-0 and 21-1) against Creston College last week. Well done to U13 player Sinalo Dlamini, who scored 15 goals for the team. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the hockey teams, as they continue their struggle to win matches.
In matches against Southcity and Creston last week, junior hockey girls fought tough battles, but ultimately lost against Southcity and drew with Creston.
In other matches, the senior girls’ hockey team lost against Creston by 6 – 0. The junior boys’ team also battled against Creston and after a tough match lost 2–0. Senior boys put on a much better performance and held Creston to a 2–2 draw.
