MERLEWOOD Primary gr R and 1 pupils visited the Riverbend Crocodile Farm in Ramsgate and all teachers reported that pupils were very well behaved and one can only wonder why? At the farm, pupils were treated to a puppet show that taught them more about crocodiles.
Gr 6 pupils visited Lake Eland in Oribi last Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed the suspension bridge and the Bushman caves, which were a highlight of the visit.
Many parents took advantage of the diptheria vaccinations offered at school and allowed their children to be vaccinated. Appreciation is extended to the Department of Health for these services.
The SGB is grateful to all parents who attended the mass meeting last Saturday. All concerns have been noted and ways forward were determined, the first of which will be implemented shortly.
