PORT Edward Primary would like to congratulate players Jenna Goble-Garratt, Liyema Maboza, Yanga Mhatu, Bulela Ncanywa and John Douglas Hattingh for making it into the Ugu District hockey team. Continuous dedication and practice paid off for them. Well done to Yanga Mhatu who made it through to the KZN Coastal U13 girls’ hockey team.
Pupils and parents will be hosting the school’s annual ‘fun day’ this coming weekend. Grades 1 to 3 pupils from various schools will be playing hockey and soccer and there will be lots of entertainment for all children, as well as parents.
Food stalls will sell candyfloss, popcorn, bacon and egg rolls, boerewors rolls, awesome character cupcakes, and pancakes. There will be games in the hall hosted by gr 7 pupils and there will be various games and activities on the school field. Come and support Port Edward Primary for a lovely morning of family fun. Parking will be available on the field and the event starts at 8.30am and finishes at 12.15pm.
